What Action Taken Today for Safety?

At LREC, we foster a safety culture that values our employees and our members as we deliver electricity to you safely. Yet, we can't do this alone.

As you use your electrical power today, don't forget that safety plays a vital role. It takes all of us working together to respect this critical energy source. Thank you for working with us to deliver safe power to you.

So, WATTS...

In the weather?

The Severe Weather Awareness Week campaign helps teach Minnesotans about weather hazards and provides resources to minimize the risks associated with severe weather.

Everyone is encouraged to make a plan, build an emergency kit and practice drills. Discuss with your family the actions to take if there is severe weather - what you keep in your safe room or basement, where your emergency kit is located, where you should meet if you were not all together when the storm occurred.  Do the work - make the plan - be ready!
