Lake Region Electric Cooperative is committed to maintaining the privacy of its member-owners in all aspects of its business. Personal information is kept confidential and protected. LREC will neither sell nor rent personal information to third parties without members' written consent or as required by law.

Internet and E-mail Privacy

Be aware that it is possible for unknown persons to intercept e-mails. Do not e-mail sensitive information such as bank account, charge card or social security numbers unless you see the secure icon in the lower right corner of your browser window.

On-line forms to report meter readings and pay by credit card are protected by a secure certificate through Thwate Consulting.
