Participating in Energy Wise programs can help keep your energy costs down, and it helps even out demand for electricity system-wide. That lowers the demand portion of LREC's wholesale power bill, which plays an increasingly important role in keeping rates lower.
Install energy efficient equipment and appliances when you build or remodel. We sell Marathon water heaters direct to customers. Be sure to check on current rebates before you buy a new refrigerator or other appliance.
Not on an Energy Wise program? You can still help control load by conserving energy whenever possible. If everyone conserves a little, we all benefit with more stable rates and a cleaner environment.
