DESCRIPTION:Join Lake Region Electric Cooperative at our upcoming Member Appreciation Event at Maplewood State Park on August 8th!  \n\n\n\nEvent details: \n\n\n\n\nDinner: LREC will be grilling up hotdogs and brats with all the fixings from 3:00pm–7:00pm\n\n\n\nEntertainment: the band Retro Junction will play from 4:00pm–6:00pm\n\n\n\nSafety demonstrations: at the top of every hour\, LREC linemen will conduct a safety demonstration with our safety trailer\n\n\n\nGuided hike: there will be a guided hike at 3:30pm and 5:00pm with Friends volunteer Linda\n\n\n\nSugar Shack: the Sugar Shack will be open from 3:00pm–7:00pm for tours and to learn about the maple syrup process\n\n\n\nNature education: Friends volunteer Greg will give information/education on various nature topics from 3:00pm–7:00pm\n\n\n\nWater activities: Andrew with Riverview Place/Pelican Paddle Company is providing free water equipment from 3:00pm–7:00pm\n\n\n\nEV ride/drive: we will have a Ford Mach-E and a Ford Lightening to test drive\n\n\n\n\nLREC has partnered with the Friends of Maplewood State Park to offer more activities and fun. All Lake Region members can enter the park for free during the event. We are looking forward to a great summer evening with our membership!
