Peak Shave Interruptible (requires 80-gallon min. water heater)

Electric Vehicle Program
EV TOU — Time of Use Rate

- 5.5¢ per kWh rate daily; controlled 16 hours

Dual Fuel Heating
A combination of a primary electric and a secondary propane, fuel oil, or natural gas thermostatically-controlled heating system. Either system must be able to provide 100% of home’s heating needs on each level.
- 6.1¢ per kWh rate for Shoulder months (September – May); 6.8¢ per kWh rate for summer (June – August)
- Submeter required
- May be controlled any time 4 – 10 p.m.; up to 12 hours/day, 400 hours/year
- Heat pumps are cycled 50% of each hour during summer peak control times
- Available for shops/garages at 6.8¢ per kWh
Short-Term Storage (STS)
- 6.1¢ per kWh rate for Shoulder months (September – May); 6.8¢ per kWh rate for summer (June – August)
- Submeter required
- Sand cover of 6″ required for in-floor heat
- May be controlled any time 4 – 10 p.m.; up to 12 hours/day, 400 hours/year
- Installed load must be at least 125% of heat loss audit.
Available Steffes storage heaters qualify for $25/kW equipment rebate on short-term storage.
Long-Term Storage Heating (LTS)
- 5.5¢ per kWh rate on electric heating
- Submeter required
- $50/kW rebate available
- Sand cover of 12″ required for in-floor heat
- Size heat load for 16 hours control; must be at least 175% of heat loss audit
- Controlled daily from 14 – 16 hours
Available Steffes storage heaters qualify for $50/kW rebate on long-term thermal storage.
All storage heating systems require a professional heat loss audit. A copy of the audit must be submitted for approval with the Load Management Application. LREC inspection required prior to concrete pour on in-floor systems. Non-residential buildings (i.e., detached garages, shops, etc.) Dual Fuel, short-term storage and combination programs are at a 6.8¢ per kWh off-peak rate.
