New Summer Business Hours Effective June 1

Lake Region Electric Cooperative (LREC) will be implementing new summer business hours effective June 1 and extending through Sept. 4, 2026.

This change will help LREC to better serve our members while improving the efficiency of our operations by:

  • Reducing operational and fuel costs by keeping our trucks in the field longer with fewer trips between our offices and job sites
  • Extending operating hours Monday – Thursday to create a broader window of availability for our members and contractors when scheduling appointments with the cooperative
  • Creating operational efficiencies through longer, uninterrupted work periods

Beginning June 1, hours of business at the Pelican Rapids headquarters will be as follows:

  • Monday through Thursday: 7 a.m. — 4:30 p.m.
  • Friday: 7 a.m. — 11 a.m.

The cooperative is committed to delivering the same high quality service that you expect today during this period and is available for reliable, responsive support when needed.
